Because each piece at CYO is individually custom-made for you, clear rules apply to returns, refunds, and warranties—to ensure everything runs fairly and transparently. By placing your order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.

No Returns for Personalized Pieces

Every CYO piece is crafted with the highest precision, care, and expertise—always made with you in mind. As each item is produced specifically for you, returns are generally not possible. All sales are final.

Please inspect your piece carefully immediately upon receipt and report any issues promptly—we are quick to support you.

Warranty & Repair Service

CYO offers warranty services and repair services for pieces that show demonstrable material or manufacturing defects—subject to inspection and the following conditions.

Shipping costs for returns for inspection or repair are generally borne by the customer. If, after inspection, it is confirmed that a warranty case exists, CYO will cover the repair costs and return shipping.

Damages due to improper use, unauthorized repairs, or normal wear & tear are excluded from the warranty.

For pieces outside the warranty conditions, incurred repair costs will be individually reviewed, transparently communicated, and charged accordingly.

Prerequisites for Refunds

Refunds are only possible in cases of significant manufacturing defects or proven package loss during transit—and always require inspection and verification.

For all claims due to defects, refunds, replacements, or compensation, a complete, uninterrupted unboxing video is required. The video must:

• clearly show the sealed package before opening,

• be recorded without cuts or edits,

• clearly document the alleged defect.

A refund due to a manufacturing defect is only possible if all the following conditions are met:

1. There is a significant manufacturing defect.

2. The problem is reported immediately after delivery.

3. The piece is returned to CYO for technical inspection.

A refund will only be processed after physical inspection and written confirmation that the defect falls under the warranty conditions.

CYO reserves the right to repair or replace the product first before issuing a refund.

If a refund is approved, the following costs are non-refundable:

• Shipping and delivery costs

• Customs duties

• Value Added Tax (VAT)

• Import taxes

• Clearance Fees

• Processing Fees

• Administrative costs

Refund Without Product Return

A refund without product return is only possible if the shipment has been officially confirmed as lost during transit.

This requires a formal investigation by the respective shipping service provider. The case remains open until official confirmation of loss is received from the carrier. A claim for a refund only arises upon receipt of this confirmation.
